Account Deletion

Your data, your choice. You can request deletion of your Edgelyzr account and all associated personal data at any time. Requests are processed within 30 days. Some financial records may be retained as required by law — see below for full details.

1. How to Request Deletion

You can request account deletion using any of the following methods:

Email request (fastest) Send an email to support@edgelyzr.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days.

In-app request Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account in the Edgelyzr app. You will be asked to confirm your decision. This initiates an immediate deletion request.

Use the form below Submit your deletion request directly using the form at the bottom of this page. We will process it within 30 days.

2. What Gets Deleted

Upon a confirmed deletion request, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:

3. Data We Must Retain

Certain data must be retained after account deletion to comply with applicable laws and regulations:

Payment and transaction records — retained for up to 7 years as required by IRS regulations and financial compliance obligations. This data is held by our payment processor (Stripe) and is not used for any marketing purpose.
Fraud prevention logs — if your account was flagged for suspicious activity, relevant logs may be retained for up to 2 years to protect the platform and other users.
Legal hold data — if your account is subject to an active legal investigation or dispute, relevant data may be retained until the matter is resolved.

Retained data is isolated, not used for any commercial purpose, and deleted as soon as the retention period expires.

4. Cancellation vs. Deletion

Cancelling your subscription stops future billing but does not delete your account or data. Your account remains accessible and data is preserved.

Deleting your account permanently removes your account and all associated data (subject to legal retention requirements above). This action cannot be undone. If you want to use Edgelyzr again after deletion, you will need to create a new account.
